The accounting office of Ilan Dar and Co., was founded and is currently managed by accountant Ilan Dar, who retired from a senior position in the professional division of the Tax Authority.
The office specializes in solving tax problems and has much experience and expertise in this field, including advice and representation at the Tax Authority in various matters: income tax, international taxation, value-added tax, and tax investigations.
In addition, the office provides regular accounting services, bookkeeping services, and services to help non-profit organizations deal with foundations and government offices with regards to fundraising and other financial matters.
Our professional and dedicated staff puts the client first and offers personal service and close support, all the while focusing on the task at hand without compromise until reaching the most favorable outcome for our client and his needs.
Our office is located in central Jerusalem, and yet despite that our varied clients are both local and international.
Accountant Ilan Dar (M.A.) – managing partner
In the past, he was a senior worker in the Tax Authority. As part of his job in the department he filled various roles, including as an inspector in the criminal domain, as a senior inspector of the income tax assessor’s corporations department, and as head inspector in the professional department.
In his most recent role he worked as head assessor in the professional department of non-profit organizations and public institutions, and dealt with complicated matters resulting from the taxation of non-profits and public institutions, and the tax credits given to donors to public institutions according to clause 46 of the tax law amendment.
In the course of his job he issued tax-related decisions and was a member of the committee that grants official approval to public institutions according to clause 46 of the tax law amendment.
Accountant Dar has broad knowledge in the field of taxation, and has vast experience and a deep understanding of the way the tax authority and its employees function.
Accountant Dar has successfully escorted and continues to escort a broad range of clients through various proceedings with the Tax Authority such as: assessments, voluntary disclosures, recognition as a public institution for donations according to clause 46 of the tax law amendment, denials, and more.
He has lectured on taxation in the past at various academic institutions and was even a senior lecturer in the training department of the tax authority, and amongst other things gave professional lectures to tax inspectors, coordinators, and assessors.
